A 12-banners traveling exhibition commemorating Durham’s Parrish Street as the center of African-American commerce and culture in the first half of the 20th century will be unveiled at 5:00 pm.
In addition, citizens will be invited to participate in a public art project to further the revitalization of Parrish Street, and businesses interested in locating there can learn about several incentives offered by PSAG and the City of Durham.
