“I mean to represent the distortion and blur that shields our postindustrial landscape from the natural world: the smokestacks coloring the sky with the byproduct of someone else’s wealth, roadways tunneling through buildings, the discarded newspapers turning to pulp beneath park benches in the rain. These drawings are made mostly at night with a pen and brush in handmade Coptic-stitched sketchbooks.”

This exhibit features twelve framed works for sale, a few completed sketchbooks, many unframed drawings, and also a 2 foot by 3 foot painting he made on the foyer wall during install day.
