Hamidou Cham, an artifact trader from The Gambia is back for his second visit this year. He travels all around West Africa purchasing artifacts from experienced craftspeople and local collectors. These are unusual items not seen in ordinary stores. His collections are spectacular. He is bringing new items from this year's trip to West Africa where he spent weeks traveling and collecting. This is a different collection from the one he brought to the September event. Hamidou's new offerings will range from large to small, new to old, dramatic to subtle, with only their high quality in common. There is nothing ordinary about this new collection. You will find just the thing you need for that special place in your home.
Furniture, Sculpture (bronze and wood), Masks, Fabrics, Beads, Jewelry, Ceremonial Artifacts, Instruments, and much more, mostly from The Gambia, Cameroon, Mali, Zaire, Nigeria, and Ghana. There are usually a few pieces from elsewhere in the other side of the Continent as well.
I will have some new photographs shown for the first time at this event. Of course there will be some of the old favorites as well.
