This exhibit features work by three sculptural handbuilding artists teaching at Claymakers. Sarah White, a nationally exhibited artist, and Holly Fischer, an award winning contemporary figurative sculptor, are both fresh from MFAs and recently relocated back in the Triangle. They are joined by Caroly van Duyn, the 2006 Artist-in-Residence in Grand Canyon, AZ, and all bring their special techniques and unique artistic perspectives to bear on their work. The other half of the gallery features mainly functional pottery by Claymakers teachers Susan Filley, Jeremiah Huth, Ronan Peterson, Liz Paley, Barbara McKenzie, and Martha Sue Carraway. All of these artists will be teaching classes next session which runs March 3-April 19. Please see our website, www.claymakers.com for more information.
