Artist Inspired by History and Love of the Outdoors:

Durham County Native Kenny Glenn paints what touches his heart and has personal meaning. Working primarily in watercolor, Glenn has amassed a following in the Carolinas and throughout the Southeastern United States. The Artist's love of nature, the outdoors, his rural farming roots and sports, is reflected in his work.

Kenny has displayed his paintings at state fairs, arts and crafts festivals, one man exhibitions and galleries throughout the Southeast. This will be Kenny's first gallery showing in his hometown in over 15 years! His credits are many, but he notes with pride the fact that his work is featured at the State Tobacco Museum and the Duke Homestead.

"I was fortunate to have been raised in a very diverse region in central North Carolina: a region rich in rural culture, athletics and outdoor life; a region known for its educational institutions, manufacturing facilities and art centers. My paintings reflect this diversity from rural life scenes and mountian wildlife to college montages. I believe art should be a reflection of an Artist's life and I share my art and my life with others who have a similar appreciation."-Kenny Glenn, artist statement
