"This is Bull City" Exhibition Opens, DJ Modest, Art Attack, Taco Truck!

Come join Golden Belt for yet another great Third Friday event featuring the This is Bull City show in ROOM 100.

Visual artist Casey Robertson spills his cache of inspiration on the twisted history of the City of Durham, asking viewers to look beneath the sidewalks and coats of fresh paint, question everything, and revisit their understanding of this city in the midst of another renaissance. Casey will have many of his prints for sale.

DJ Modest will be spinning jazz-influenced and underground hip-hop sets and Sabor Latino taco truck will also be on site offering delicious fare. CASH ONLY please!!

Third Friday will also feature work by burgeoning 8th grade Art Attack artist, Alex Buck. As part of the Art Attack Youth Art Mentorship Program, Golden Belt Artist-in-Residence Peter Eversoll has been working with Alex, who attends Brogden Middle School in Durham, to develop his artistic skills, gain insight into the creative process and understand first hand the interworkings of putting up an art show.

The coordinators of Art Attack will be available to answer questions about the program and applications for both artist mentors and youth artists will be available!
