Opening: Wendy Spitzer's new mixed media show, open artist studios, LabourLove exhibition

ALL EVENTS FREE AND OPEN TO PUBLIC!

You won't want to miss the opening of The Inner on the Outside, The Outside on the In--Wendy Spitzer's imaginative, new mixed media and collage exhibition in ROOM 100. Spitzer's provoking works explore themes of time and memory, death and transfiguration, our private and public selves, and surveillance. As the founding member of the original and acclaimed Felix Obelix band, Spitzer has chosen to pair her show with pre-recorded music from the band's latest album.

Installation runs through May 16.

In LabourLove Gallery, take in the beauty of what others have discarded. The Progression or Recession? show features artists Luke Miller Buchanan, Michael Mills, Jenifer Padilla and Jeff Bell as they explore the abandoned spaces and objects discarded by people that have either moved on to newer and better things or have vacated due to economic hardships.

In Building 3, shop an eclectic blend of 43 studio artists under one roof. Enjoy food from Only Burger and the new La Carbonera as you shop the amazing art, jewelry, handmade textiles, and more locally-inspired goods at Golden Belt.
