Raleigh native, saxophonist, and educator Ron Baxter has performed coast-to-coast, sharing the stage with top jazz artists while appearing at numerous festivals, clubs and institutions. He currently leads the Ron Baxter Quintet which plays uniquely original compositions with a high level of intensity, and spiritual calm.

Notable appearances include the Chicago African Festival of the Arts, Iowa City Jazz Festival, T. Monk Jazz Festival, Bimbé Cultural Arts Festival, Lima Peru Jazz Festival, European tours and countless other performances and master classes.
