featuring painting by Bryan Crabtree and Cade Carlson
with musical performances by Mystic Minstrels (8pm) and Tree City (9pm)

Bryan Crabtree creates densely layered mixed media paintings using text, graphics, symbolic images and references from all over art history recreated by his own hand, overlapping and deconstructing these images to weave a nexus ideological relationships.

Using spray paint and magazine collages in a unique technique that he has developed over the years, Cade Carlson creates otherworldly scenes that live in their own space and time that have a dream like quality of mystery and weightlessness.

All artists and musicians are from Durham, working with the Durty Arts Collective.
