This is a "twofer" program that combines scatterings and smatterings from Hollywood history with how-to's and safety tips from 1950's educationals. Includes vintage television commercials for products you can't even find anymore. Learn how movies are made and why you should never leave roller skates on the stairs. Expect some Robin Hood, some Will Rogers, and the usual Range of Strange found exclusively at a Durham Cinematheque show.

This is an outdoor program so bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Admission is free, the hat will be passed vigorously.
