Come visit the office of Durham Central Market, a new neighborhood cooperative grocery, aiming to locate in the heart of Durham, and view a Painting series by local artist – Christian Infinito!

Christian Infinito is a Durham based artist who will be displaying several recent paintings in acrylic on wood panel. Christian draws on his formal training, having earned a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Painting from East Carolina University in 1994, and having studied classical Italian painting and 2-dimensional design, which he combines with a penchant for improvisational jazz and American expressive modalities. The works in this series attempt to harness contrasting elements of graphic representation into a visual expression of paradox that allow for a dynamic interaction between the viewer and the work.
