Join us for a free and open artist reception marking the opening of three shows in the Durham Arts Council Gallery. Local artist Tessa Guze will be exhibiting "Beginner's Mind: Painting with an Open Heart" in the Allenton Gallery. "FRANCO and Frank Present: The Art of Cool Project," features works by Luis Franco and Frank Myers and celebrate the one-year anniversary of jazz performances organized by The Art of Cool Project. The exhibit will be on view in the Semans Gallery. 2011-2012 Emerging Artist Grant Recipient Nuno Gomes will display his exhibit, "Long Play," in the Ella Fountain Pratt Emerging Artist Gallery. This will be a great night of celebrating local art, music, and creative collaboration! We hope to see you!
